Stone Villa is a rare granite stone home, one of only a handful in Tahoe and among the first built off Old Highway 40. Rebuilt from the ground up, it has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with 9 beds sleeping 12, plus two sofa beds for extra flexibility. There's a fully stocked kitchen, a stone fireplace to gather around, a movie, karaoke, and game room, and house instruments (guitars, a bass, and a ukulele) for anyone who plays.
Stone Villa sits in the heart of the Sierra ski country. You're minutes from Sugar Bowl, Boreal, and Royal Gorge, and about 30 minutes from Northstar and Palisades. Ski all day, then come home to the fire, the sauna, and a house made for the whole group. An hour from Reno and three to four hours from San Francisco.
When the snow melts, Donner Lake is your backyard. Spend the day swimming off the beaches, paddleboarding and kayaking the shoreline, fishing, or picnicking by the water, then hike and bike the trails that climb straight out of Donner Summit. The house comes with three Tahoe Regional Annual Passes, so up to three of your vehicles park free at Donner Memorial State Park and other state parks around the lake all season long. Long mountain days, cool alpine nights, and room for everyone to spread out.
Stone Villa is also a true basecamp for the granite and the passes, with world-class climbing right at Donner Summit and legendary road and gravel riding. There's covered bike storage, an outdoor wash-down spot, on-site bouldering pads and a hangboard, and a work stand, floor pump, and tools on hand.
